Virginia W. Hill Grant for Butterfly Pavilion Scholarship Program

This grant was written to support the scholarship program at Butterfly Pavilion so that schools that serve primarily low-income students can access field trips, after school clubs, and virtual programs at a reduced cost based on need. The program needs $45,000 to keep up with scholarship demands, and this grant asked for $5,000.

IMA Grant for Butterfly Pavilion Afterschool Education Program

This grant was written to support the education program so they could offer after school nature clubs to two additional schools in Jefferson County. The program needs $25,000 to operate and this grant asked for $5.000. Unfortunately this grant was declined, but did allow me the opportunity to learn more about tailoring a grant request to the funder I’m requesting from.
